How We Store Your Data

Your privacy is our top priority. We've designed PHYT to keep your data secure and private.

Local Storage

All your workout data, exercise history, and personal preferences are stored locally on your iOS device using Apple's SwiftData framework. This means your data never leaves your device unless you explicitly choose to share it.

No Cloud Sync

PHYT does not use cloud storage or sync your data to external servers. Your data remains on your device at all times, giving you complete control and privacy. This is a core feature of PHYT—your fitness journey stays private and secure.

Data Encryption

All data stored on your device is encrypted using iOS standard security measures, including device-level encryption provided by Apple's operating system. This ensures that even if someone gains physical access to your device, your data remains protected.

Data Backup

Your data may be included in your device's automatic iCloud backup if you have iCloud Backup enabled. This is controlled by your iOS settings, not by PHYT. You can disable iCloud backup for PHYT in your iOS settings if you prefer.

Third-Party Services

PHYT uses minimal third-party services, all provided by Apple, to ensure your privacy and security.

Apple StoreKit

PHYT uses Apple's StoreKit framework for in-app purchases and subscription management. All payment processing is handled securely through your Apple ID account. We do not have access to your payment information, credit card details, or billing address. All financial transactions are processed entirely by Apple.

Apple Analytics

We may use Apple's App Analytics service to understand how users interact with the App. This service provides aggregated, anonymized data and does not identify individual users. This helps us improve the App's features and user experience.

Crash Reporting

We may use Apple's crash reporting services to identify and fix bugs. Crash reports may include device information and App state at the time of the crash, but do not include personal workout data. This helps us maintain a stable and reliable App.

No Third-Party Advertising

PHYT does not use third-party advertising services or analytics providers. We do not share your data with advertisers or marketing companies. PHYT is ad-free and respects your privacy.

Data Security

We prioritize your privacy and security. All data stored on your device is protected by:

• iOS device-level encryption
• Secure data storage using Apple's SwiftData framework
• No network transmission of personal data
• No access to your data by third parties

Data Deletion

You can delete all your data at any time from the Settings screen within the App. This action is permanent and cannot be undone. You can also delete the App from your device, which will remove all associated data.

Account Security

Since PHYT does not require account creation, there are no passwords or login credentials to manage. Your data is protected by your device's security measures, including Face ID, Touch ID, or passcode protection.

Your Privacy Rights

You have complete control over your data. Here are your rights:

Access Your Data

You can view all your workout data, exercise history, and preferences directly within the App at any time. Everything is accessible and transparent.

Modify Your Data

You can edit, update, or delete any workout data, exercises, or preferences within the App. You have full control over your information.

Delete Your Data

You can delete all your data at any time through the App's Settings screen. This will permanently remove all workout history, preferences, and associated data. This action cannot be undone.

Export Your Data

While PHYT does not currently offer a data export feature, you can manually view and record your data from within the App. We're always working to improve PHYT and may add export functionality in the future.

Opt-Out

Since we do not collect or transmit personal data, there is no opt-out process required. Your data remains on your device by default. Privacy is built into PHYT's design.

Data Retention

Your workout data is stored on your device for as long as you have the App installed and choose to keep it. We do not set retention periods because:

• All data is stored locally on your device
• You have complete control over data retention
• You can delete data at any time
• Uninstalling the App removes all data

If you delete the App from your device, all associated data will be permanently removed and cannot be recovered. We recommend backing up your device if you want to preserve your workout history.

Children's Privacy

PHYT is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately at support@phyt.app.

If we become aware that we have collected personal information from a child under 13 without parental consent, we will take steps to delete that information from our systems immediately.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date.
